We love to receive updates on the precious puppies we sell. If you've recently adopted a puppy from us and would like to share some special news about your newest family member, please e-mail us and we'll post it here as space allows. Here's what some of our customers had to say......
Simba (Yorkie Boy #2) from Natasha in Fort Knox, KY I am writing to thank you for contributing to the purchase of my first puppy and being so helpful by answering every single question I asked you (and we both know that was a lot) LOL. In the future if I decide to purchase a second puppy I can guarantee I will purchase through you even though I will be living in a different state by then. I am so excited in finally having a dog to call my own. I am counting down the days until I pick-up little Simba. Thank you again Tarah and have a Merry Christmas. Sincerely, Natasha _____________________________________________________ Chloe Megan (Shih Tzu girl #7) from Stephanie in Lexington, KY Hey!
How have you been doing? I thought that you might like an update on Chloe! She is doing great! She and Evelyn, my other dog, play together all the time it's so cute! I was worried at first since Evelyn was used to being the only dog in the house, but she lays next to Chloe and even shares all of her stuff! I think when we got Chloe she weighed about one pound, now she has gotten to around 2 lbs, 5 oz! She LOVES to eat! :) She is now no longer eating wet food and is completely on dry food. Now that she has been here awhile she is getting a lot more hyper! She loves to run around and have a great time! Her favorite placce in the whole house is right underneath the couch! She scoots in there bottom first and sleeps there! She must like it because it feels like a den and its dark under there. She hasn't been outside much since it has been rainy and freezing... My other dog is a barker and seems to have taught Chloe to bark... Sometimes Chloe gets to barking and doesn't quit! :) She must like the sound of her bark! It is cute though! :)
I have attached some pictures on this email so you can see what she looks like now... The pictures are from the day after we brought her back here. She has since started to change colors and her spots that were almost black are now more of a chocolate brown color and her ears are turning almost goldish... I'll try and get some more pictures soon!
Thanks, Stephanie
_____________________________________________________ Molly (Shih Tzu Girl #2) & Chloe (Shih Tzu Girl #6) from Christina in Jonesville, VA Tarah, I just wanted to let you know that Chloe and Molly are doing great. Their personalities are as different as daylight and dark. Chloe is just like a little baby, she is so sweet and loveable. She waits in front of my son Logans room through out the day for him to return. She is already potty trained and I am a very proud mommy once again. Molly on the other hand is absoultly rotten. She will bark at my mom when she is on the phone or computer wanting attention and if my mom doesn't do what she wants molly will squat and pee right in front of her because she knows it gets a reaction out of her. Mom was offered $1000.00 for her 2 weeks ago and said "I wouldn't take nothing for her". Living alone, Molly has been such a blessing for her. Molly and Chloe are very loved. Thanks, Christina _____________________________________________________ "Deja" (English Bulldog girl #1) from Casey of Morristown, TN Hey Tarah, Just wanted to give you the update on my baby Deja. I took her for her nine week shots and her puppy check. The vet said that I had a healthy, smart, and very beautiful puppy (like I hadn't realized this). She is doing great in her new home and has adapted very well. She loves to eat, play, roll around in the grass (she honestly rolls herself all around the backyard, she loves to go outside!!), and most of all she likes to sleep. The vet said she may have to do a procedure to open up her nose a little, other than that, all is great. I have already taught her to sit on command, fetch, and she knows where she is supposed to do her "business". We haven't learned how to roll over yet, but I'm very proud of how quick she catches on, so I'm sure it will be a breeze. Everybody is amazed of her already wonderful manners, did I mention that I was proud of her? I am trying to break her from biting my toes, but I'm being easy on her, she is a puppy after all. The only "bad" habit we have made is her sleeping in the bed with me at night, but she loves to so much that I hate to tell her no. I just wanted to thank you. I think I lucked out with her, I'm so glad no one else took her and I will definitely send you photos of her on occasion. Thanks so much, Casey ____________________________________________________ "Ace" (English Bulldog boy #3) from David & Lisa in Greenville, KY We wanted to say thank you once again for all your help. Just got back from our vet with a clean bill of health!! You all have a merry christmas and if your ever down our way, give us a call. Take care and happy holidays. David, Lisa and Ace _____________________________________________ "Riggs" (English Bulldog boy) from Noelle in El Cajon, CA Hello, Hope all is well. The vet was able to get him in today at 11, so we just got home and he said everything looks great. eyes and ears are clear, heart sounds good, lungs are clear wrinkles around butt are minimal (easier for him to keep clean), he could see the end of his palette, and his under bite minimal. GREAT news, thank you so much he is truly a blessing. Happy new year! ~ Noelle _____________________________________________________ "King" (Yorkie boy #1) from Holli in Bowling Green, KY Tarah: What a great morning! Dawson was literally speechless when he saw his new little buddy. "Santa" had put him in a box under the tree and when Dawson walked into the living room he heard the puppy whimpering. He thought it was his robot puppy. He got closer and saw his note from Santa and the whimpering got louder. He opened the box and really did not show much emotion at all. Terry and I both think that he was in shock! He could not believe he had a puppy! It was so funny. He has been snuggling him ever since. The puppy has not cried at all, he has been great! We are still uncertain on a name. I'll keep you posted on what that might be. When I download my pictures I'll send you some. Take care and have a very Merry Christmas! We have a little boy who has had the best one yet! Holli (Update from Holli) Tarah: I think the final decision for a name is King with Boomer being his middle name. We have come to realize that he is going to be "king" of our household for a while. :-) I think that name is much more fitting. We'll keep you posted! Here are some cute pictures of Dawson and King. He is doing great! Eating well, and acts as if he has been a part of our family forever. We are visiting the Vet today. He definitely is entertaining, and loves to be the center of attention. We have already had many laughs with him. Take care! Buster is still Buster to most, I call him POOT, but thats just me. Tell your mom she did a great job with Buster, I could not love him more. He has the most personality of any pup I have ever had. Fiji (Yorkinese from litter #1) from Rana in Washington Tarah, No matter what pup i buy its gonna be from you guys! Your website is adorable, although i have to admit Fiji's feelings are hurt because he isn't on there..lol but he'll be okay. Yes, we are in Glasgow and will be here till Nov so I would love to see a couple of your adorable's and Fiji is so happy to be in his hometown. He has had so many compliments! I hope to hear from you soon! I am still so adamant about one of your Yorkies...so put my name down for a definite one! Rana
Kasee (Chi-a-Pom girl #2) from Nola in Sellersburg, IN. We saw your website and I saw the new pic of her and she was so cute! We named her Kasee Heart. The kids chose her name. Obviously my smallest one picked out her middle name! She still seems to be doing great. Everyone has her completely spoiled, especially my husband. :) Have a great one and thanks for the puppy! We will send a picture soon! Nola
Birdy & Bogy (Yorkinese from litter #2) from Sandy in Louisville, KY Tarah, I loved looking at the pics of your new babies. It has been almost one year since I came and got birdie and bogie, the Yorkinese, sister and brother I adopted from you last July. They turned one year old on May 22. We have had a great year with them. When I figure out how to get their pics on this computer I will send you their beautiful faces. We cannot imagine them without each other. Encourage all your customers to buy two, double the pleasure! Thanks for remembering me with the pics ! Sandy
Halo (Yorkinese from litter #3) from Sharon in Brandenburg, KY Hi Tarah, Thank you for letting me be an owner of the most precious little dog "Halo". She is such a joy in our lives. Halo has adjusted very well to her new home. We had no problem with her. Halo took right to her new bed and eating is no problem. I thought she might miss her mom, brothers and sister but so far she is just happy and playful. We play footsies and tug of war, she gives me all kinds of puppy licks and kisses of course she gets them back. I love her so much. My sister got to baby-sit her and she just fell in love with her too. Halo is going to get to meet my brother and nephew this weekend she goes everywhere we do. Halo is one of the family now and is accepted by everyone. The weather has been so bad that we had to hold off taking her outside for housebreaking but she is really good going on her puppy pads. We got her all kinds of dog biscuits, treats and toys, but she likes my house shoes the best. We have her vet appointment on Feb 7th. I will send pics of her as soon as I can, we are still learning aboutour computer and how to do things on it. I hope it works, so if not please let us know. Thank you for the pictures of her family. I have enjoyed seeing them. We will send more as she grows. Thanks a lot, Sharon, Lonnie and Halo
Maxwell (Chi-a-Pom boy #1) from Andy in Hanover, MA Tarah, Well, after a world debate about what to name our new Chi-a-Pom puppy, and input from neighbors, co-workers, family, etc and names ranging from: Aries (god of war) - (suggested by my good friend Mike fighting in Baghdad Iraq) Little Girl Princess - (suggested by my 4 year old niece that does not care if he is a boy) Valium - (suggested by my funny neighbor Michelle who thinks I need some having 3 dogs) Candydog - (suggested by my 2 year old niece who thinks the puppy is the little pony next door whose name is Candy) Noodles - (suggested by my co-worker who think this is a great name for any dog OR monkey) Peanut - (suggested by my neighbor Jillian- age 9) Louis - (suggested by my neighbor age 11) and the winner is.......... Maxwell (yes the most common name of dogs on the planet....!!) He is doing SO well. So funny and sweet. He LOVES my house - so much space to play fetch - which he does until he passes out in my lap to nap. Took a little video I will send you later... Thanks! Andy
